Falcon Ware

Falcon Ware was made by Thomas Lawrence (Longton) Ltd at the Falcon Works in Longton, Staffordshire.

The company was founded in 1897 but the trade name ‘Falcon Ware’ did not come into use until 1936.

The company was taken over in 1938 by Shaw & Copestake, who were responsible for the production of SylvaC. The two companies operated independently of one another for nearly two decades, during which time a new factory was built opposite the old Shaw & Copestake site.

The move to new premises brought with it a gradual merger, and by 1964 Falcon Ware had ceased production.
