Arthur Wood (Ltd)
Capper & Wood was formed in 1895 and based at the Bradwell Works in Longton, Staffordshire. They were in production until 1904 when they became Arthur Wood.
In 1928 the company rebranded as ‘Arthur Wood & Son’. Over the next 40 years, they acquired numerous British pottery brands, including Price Bros. (Burslem), Kensington Pottery, and Carlton Ware under The Arthur Wood Group.
In 2003, the Arthur Wood Group went into administration and was acquired by Rayware Ltd, who kept the ‘Arthur Wood’ and ‘Price & Kensington’ brands in production.
