Custard Cups
Custards made from special recipes and distinguished from baked custards were a favourite Georgian dessert. They could be flavoured in exotic fashion, for example orange and almond custard, the latter perfumed with ambergris. The custard was poured into individual glass cups, which resembled a small teacup.
