Seltmann Weiden
The Porzellanfabriken Christian Seltmann was founded in 1910 in Weiden, Bavaria, Germany. It produced a mixture of everyday and luxury goods in hard-paste porcelain.
The company subsumed the Herman Lange Factory of Krummennaab in 1939, and also the Erbendorf Porcelain Factory in 1940. By 1957 it had acquired the Königlich privilegierte Porzellanfabrik Tettau, which was founded in 1794.
The company continued to expand, and in the 1990s it acquired more nearby porcelain companies. This group now exists as Seltmann Weiden GmbH and continues to produce porcelain for hotels and consumers worldwide.
