Royal Grafton

Royal Grafton is a trade name of A. B. Jones & Sons (Ltd) of the Grafton Works, Longton, Staffordshire.

The pottery was established by Alfred Bailey Jones in 1900, who was subsequently joined in business by his two sons.

Alfred Bailey Jones died in 1940. The business stayed in the family until 1966 when it was sold to Crown House Limited, which already owned subsidiaries such as Thomas Webb, Edinburgh Crystal, and Dema Glass.

It continued to trade under A. B. Jones & Sons until it was sold to the New Zealand-based Crown Lynn Potteries Ltd in 1971. It was then rebranded as Crown Lynn Ceramics (UK) Ltd.
