Bristol Glass Collection
The Bristol Glass Collection was designed by David Hammond for Thomas Webb & Co. Limited when it was part of the Dema Glass group.
It was given the Supreme Award at the International Spring Trade Fair, which was hosted at the National Exhibition Centre in 1978.
Thomas Webb recreated the famous Bristol glass colours, which included cobalt blue, green, and amethyst.
The initial range featured a wine decanter, a wine glass cooler, a cider mug, a cream jug, and a covered jar. The range proved successful, and so they later added a ship’s decanter, a candlestick, a rolling pin, and an open-footed bowl to the collection.
