Jersey Pottery Ovoid Posy Holder or Potpourri in Brown and Black

This is a simple yet elegant design for a posy holder by Jersey Pottery.

The posy is approximately egg-shaped and has a central band, which is in various shades of brown with an abstract design in black glaze. The upper part has two sets of five holes immediately opposite each other. There is also a large central hole.

There is a small, unglazed foot rim, within which are the words ‘JERSEY POTTERY C. I.’ in black glaze.

It has a height of approximately 9.0cm.

It has an unwrapped weight of 140g.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
