This is a highly attractive example of a posy vase by Jersey Pottery.
The vase is bottle-shaped and decorated with two sets of six perforations. The bulbous part of the body is hand-painted with blue stylised flowers in a continuous band.
The base has an unglazed foot rim and a central glazed portion, with the words ‘Jersey Pottery C. I.’ moulded in relief.
It has a height of approximately 9.5cm and a diameter across the rim of about 3.0cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 150g.
It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is some crazing to the glaze.
