This is a charming example of a trinket dish by Jersey Pottery.
The design consists of a central stylised flower surrounded by four further flowers and stylised leaves. The decoration is produced with glazes in peach and beige.
The base has an unglazed foot rim. The central glazed portion has the words ‘Jersey Pottery C. I.’ marked in black glaze. It also bears the original chocolate brown and white sticker, with the words ‘FREEHAND PAINTED BY THE JERSEY POTTERY’.
It has a height of about 3.0cm and a diameter across the rim of about 9.5cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 140g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
