Small Jersey Pottery Candlestick with Retro Brown Floral Design

This is an attractive piece of Jersey Pottery.

The main part of the candlestick is a short cylinder with a central hole. Below this are a short pedestal and a wide, flattened base.

The base and pedestal are decorated with a chocolate brown glaze. The central portion is decorated with a wreath of stylised flowers and there is a ring of brown glaze surrounding the central hole.

There is an unglazed foot rim and the underneath is marked in black glaze with the words ‘Jersey Pottery C. I.’

It has a height of approximately 3.8cm, with a diameter across the rim and base of about 6.2cm.

It has an unwrapped weight of 70g.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
