This is a set of six high-quality contemporary lead crystal sherry or liqueur glasses produced by Jihlavské Sklárny in the Czech Republic.
Each glass has a plain, bell-shaped bowl with a thickened base. This sits on a short, waisted portion above a bulbous knop and undulating stem. These have been cut with six vertical facets. The foot is plain and slightly domed in the centre.
The glasses are unmarked but bear their original stickers. One diamond-shaped sticker in blue and gold reads ‘JIHLAVSKÉ SKLÁRNY BOHEMIA HAND CUT LEAD CRYSTAL OVER 24% PbO MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC’. The other sticker is round and is in gold with blue text, which reads ‘MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC 24% PbO’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 17.4cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.3cm and across the foot of about 6.4cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 80ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 910g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although some of the stickers are peeling up at the corners.
