This is a simple but elegant example of a flower vase by Bohemia Glass of Czechoslovakia.
The bulbous body tapers in towards the ‘neck’ and then flares out at the rim. It sits on a thick, discoid base. The piece is unmarked but bears the original sticker, which reads ‘BOHEMIA GLASS MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA’. According to the original catalogue, it has the pattern number ‘4894’.
It has a height of approximately 20.2cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.1cm and across the base of about 7.5cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 470g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
