This is an interesting porcelain drinking vessel produced by Royal Worcester in the latter part of the 20th century.
The bowl is bucket-shaped, tapering in towards the base. The stem is cylindrical with two discoid knops. The foot is approximately conical and hollow.
The whole is glazed in a pale brown shade; this appears lighter around the rim and the knops where the glaze is thinner. The bowl is decorated in dark brown with five thick circles, each contained within a fine ring. This is bordered above and below by a thick band of brown glaze. This band is repeated around the rim of the foot. The piece has a glossy lustred finish.
The underside of the foot is marked in black with the stylised W logo within a circle and the words ‘ROYAL WORCESTER PORCELAIN ENGLAND’.
It has a height of approximately 14.4cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.7cm and across the foot of about 8.4cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 325ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 300g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
