This is a classic example of a retro flower vase produced by Riihimaën Lasi Oy (formerly Riihimäki) with pattern number 1374.
The vase has an elongated neck, which widens out and then narrows again as it approaches the base. The latter is thickened, showing the clear glass layer, and is unmarked.
The vase is made in a vibrant ruby red shade, although this is thinner in one area and so appears paler, almost orange (see pictures).
It has a height of approximately 25.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.3cm and across the base of about 6.0cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 510g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a few wear and tear scratches to the body commensurate with age.
