This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal sherry glasses from the ‘Olivia’ suite designed by Frank Thrower for Wedgwood Crystal.
The conical bowl is plain and merges with the long, straight stem. There is a small collar at the junction of the stem and the slightly domed foot. The latter bears the original plastic sticker, which reads ‘WEDGWOOD LEAD CRYSTAL ENGLAND’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 17.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.2cm and across the foot of about 5.7cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 115ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 200g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
