This is a stunning, high-quality lemonade set dating to the 1930s or 1940s.
The capacious jug is cylindrical in shape with a thickened base. The latter is unmarked. The solid handle is positioned centrally and has a thickened lower attachment. The spout is short and pulled out from the rim.
The tumblers echo the shape of the jug and are cylindrical with a thickened base. Both the jug and glasses are made from amber-coloured glass with a faint diamond-moulded pattern.
The jug has a height of approximately 23.7cm and a diameter across the rim of about 9.5cm. Each tumbler has a height of approximately 13.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.6cm and across the base of about the same. There may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glass.
The jug has a liquid capacity (to the underside of the spout) of 1250ml. Each tumbler has a liquid capacity to the brim of 350ml.
The set has an unwrapped weight of 2650g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some wear and tear scratches to the body and base commensurate with age and use.
