This is a pair of high-quality cut lead crystal whisky glasses from the ‘Glenshee’ suite produced by Edinburgh Crystal.
The bowl is of cylindrical form with a thickened base. The bowl is cut with ten pairs of crosses, one surmounting the other. The uppermost cross contains a three-pointed fan cut. Between adjacent pairs of crosses is a vertical wedge cut.
The base is star cut in the centre and marked with the words ‘EDINBURGH CRYSTAL’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 8.4cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.2cm and across the base of about 7.4cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 250ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of approximately 660g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
