This is a stunning example of a champagne flute from the ‘Intermezzo Blue’ range designed by Erika Lagerbielke for Orrefors of Sweden.
The glass has an elongated bowl that tapers in and merges imperceptibly with the long, tapering stem. The latter contains a teardrop-shaped bubble in blue that is drawn through the stem towards the foot. The foot is plain and slightly domed. It is marked in the centre with the shield logo and the words ‘ORREFORS SWEDEN’.
In addition, the foot bears the original silver maker’s sticker, which reads ‘ORREFORS SWEDEN’.
It has a height of approximately 24.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 4.7cm and across the foot of about 6.2cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 275ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 140g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
