This is a set of six high-quality lead crystal wine goblets from the iconic ‘Sharon’ suite designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Crystal.
The capacious conical bowl merges imperceptibly with the tapering stem. The latter contains an enclosed air bubble. The foot is discoid and five of the six glasses are marked in the centre with the Dartington ‘D’ logo.
Each glass has a height of approximately 22.4cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.5cm and across the foot of about 8.1cm. There may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glasses.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 300ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 2170g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
