This is a fine example of a candle holder from the ‘Brancaster’ range designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson for Wedgwood Glass.
The upper part is short and cylindrical in shape. The stem is hollow and straight and terminates in a broad, flat foot. It is marked off-centre with the words ‘WEDGWOOD ENGLAND’.
It has a height of approximately 27.9cm, with a diameter across the rim of 6.3cm and across the foot of about 8.9cm.
This is the largest candle holder from the range and has the pattern number RSW15/3.
It has an unwrapped weight of 220g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is some minor clouding inside the base of the stem that was sustained during manufacture.
