This is a nice example of a classic early Frank Thrower design for Dartington Glass.
The vase has an everted rim surmounting a bulbous upper portion. The base is approximately square in section, with each side being moulded with a circular stippled motif.
The piece is made from ‘Kingfisher Blue’ glass.
It has a maximum height of approximately 15.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.2cm and a width across the base of about 7.8cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 310g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
