This is a classic example of a lead crystal ring tree designed by Frank Thrower in 1974 for Dartington Glass.
The top part of the ring tree has five ‘fingers’ on which to place rings. Below this is a conical-shaped solid stem, which flares out to a hollow, domed base.
It is unmarked but bears the original gold Dartington sticker, which reads ‘DARTINGTON ENGLAND 24% LEAD CRYSTAL’. This is indicative of ‘first’ quality.
The ring tree has a height of approximately 8.4cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 50g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
