This is a stunning example of a piece of Czechoslovakian art glass dating to the Art Nouveau period.
The vase has a cylindrical upper portion with an undulating rim formed from three lobes. It tapers in slightly and then sweeps out to form an elongated baluster-shaped body. This is decorated with three applied trails in blue that taper in as they approach the base of the vase.
The body is made from green glass with an iridescent silvered finish to the exterior surface. The trail is made from iridescent blue glass.
The base is plain with a central partially polished pontil.
It has a height of approximately 21.4cm, with a maximum width at the rim of about 9.3cm and a diameter across the base of about 8.5cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 470g.
The vase is in fair condition for its age, although there are a few small chips to the trail at the base of the vase. There is also a small chip to the edge of the base with a width of approximately 2mm. This wear is reflected in the price.
