This is a set of four high-quality shot glasses from the iconic ‘Skibsglas’ range designed by Per Lütken for Holmegaard in 1971.
The bowl is of short, waisted form and sits on a thickened base. This merges imperceptibly with the slightly waisted, cylindrical stem. This then flares out again to merge with the plain, flat foot. The latter is polished on the underside and hand-engraved with the number ‘2’ in the centre.
Each glass has a height of approximately 11.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 4.8cm and across the foot of about 5.7cm.
They have a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 32ml.
PLEASE NOTE: In more recent years the volume of these glasses has been changed so that they now accommodate 100ml. Please ensure you are happy with the measurements and capacity if you are matching to an existing stemware set.
They have an unwrapped weight of 700g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
