Pair of J. G. Durand Plain Lead Crystal Large Wine Glasses with Original Stickers

This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal large wine glasses by J. G. Durand of France.

The capacious, rounded bowl is plain and tapers slightly at the rim. The bowl is thickened at the base and merges with the solid, straight stem. The latter merges with the plain, flat foot. Each foot is marked at the edge with ‘J. G. DURAND’.

In addition, each glass bears the original blue and white paper label, which reads ‘J. G. DURAND CRISTAL AU PLOMB 24% FRANCE’.

Each glass has a height of approximately 20.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.0cm and across the foot of about 8.2cm.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 450ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of 450g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is some minor wear to the paper labels.
