This is a pair of high-quality cut lead crystal whisky glasses from the ‘Highland’ suite by Edinburgh Crystal.
The cylindrical bowl is cut with eight vertical wedge cuts that divide the glass into panels. Within each panel is a large cross surmounting three rows of small crosses. The thickened base is star cut and marked at the edge with the words ‘EDINBURGH MADE IN SCOTLAND’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 8.3cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.2cm and across the base of about 7.3cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 260ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 580g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
