This is a set of six retro glass sherry or liqueur glasses, maker unknown but probably dating to the 1970s.
The elongated bowl tapers in and merges imperceptibly with the long stem. The latter contains a four-strand ‘mercurial’ or air-twist design. The foot is plain and unmarked, although there is a central linear tool mark.
The glasses are made from pale grey glass that is sometimes referred to as ‘smoke’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 16.4cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 5.0cm and across the foot of about 6.5cm. There may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glasses.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 90ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 430g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
