Pair of Dartington Crystal ‘Sharon’ Design Claret Wine Glasses FT115/2/P

This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal claret wine glasses from the ‘Sharon’ suite designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Crystal.

The conical bowl merges imperceptibly with the tapering stem, which contains an enclosed air bubble. The foot is discoid and marked at the edge with the word ‘DARTINGTON’.

Each glass has a height of approximately 19.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.0cm and across the foot of about 6.7cm.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 175ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of about 360g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is the odd wear and tear scratch to the bowls commensurate with use.
