This is an exceedingly good quality lead crystal goblet, ideal for gin and tonic.
The goblet has a capacious rounded bowl and merges with the plain, straight stem. This flares out at the junction with the plain flat foot to form a discoid collar.
The bowl is hand engraved on one side with a capital initial ‘R’ in Gothic style.
The centre of the foot is hand engraved with ‘10914 B. M. YORK 10 TELLISFORD LANE NORTON SAINT PHILIP NR. BATH’.
It has a height of approximately 18.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.5cm and across the foot of about 8.9cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 700ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 320g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
