This is a simple yet elegant glass rummer, probably dating to between 1880 and 1890.
The capacious bowl is U-shaped, with a polished bevelled rim. There is a wide attachment at the base of the bowl; the stem then widens out and merges with the plain, flat foot. The latter is slightly domed in the centre and unmarked.
It has a height of approximately 16.0cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 9.7cm and across the foot of about 8.0cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 475ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 240g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some enclosed bubbles and streaks within the glass which are from the manufacturing process.
