This is a charming example of an early 19th-century moulded wine or gin glass.
The rounded bowl has a blown-moulded petal design that has been twisted during manufacture. This terminates at the short, solid stem. The foot is plain and flat and has a central rough pontil mark.
It has a height of approximately 11.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.8cm and across the foot of about 6.6cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 175ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 150g.
It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a number of fine wear and tear scratches on the inside of the bowl. This wear is reflected in the price.
