This is an unusual and attractive glass bowl, probably continental in origin and dating to the early 20th century.
The bowl is decorated with reticulated moulding, the rim being folded inwards and crimped to form fluting. The base is slightly domed in the centre and has a rough pontil.
The glass has an iridescent finish.
It has a height of approximately 6.3cm, a diameter across the inside of the rim of about 15.3cm and a maximum diameter of about 20.0cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 600g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some wear and tear scratches to the underside of the base commensurate with use.
