This is a high-quality lead crystal sugar bowl from the ‘Devon’ range produced by Dartington Crystal.
The wide shallow bowl has an everted rim and is moulded in vertical ribs. This pattern is known as ‘Optic’. The bowl stands on a short, plain stem and a round, slightly domed foot. The latter is marked in the centre with the Dartington ‘D’ logo.
It has a height of approximately 8.4cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 11.9cm and across the foot of about 6.5cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 320g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
