Pair of Dartington Crystal ‘Sharon’ Design Wine Goblets FT115/3/P

This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal wine goblets from the ‘Sharon’ suite designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Crystal.

The conical bowl merges imperceptibly with the tapering stem, which contains an enclosed air bubble. The foot is discoid and unmarked.

Each glass has a height of approximately 22.2cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.2cm and across the foot of about 8.3cm.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 250ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of about 630g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is the odd enclosed bubble within the glass, which is to be expected from handmade stemware.
