Set of Six Stuart Crystal ‘Woodchester’ Design Liqueur Glasses No. 27861

This is a set of six high-quality cut lead crystal liqueur glasses from the ‘Woodchester’ suite produced by Stuart Crystal.

The rounded bowl is matte intaglio cut with four elongated fern motifs arranged vertically around the bowl. The bowl merges imperceptibly with the short tapering stem, which is also matte cut with four columns of angulated wedge cuts.

The foot is plain and etched with the words ‘STUART ENGLAND’.

Each glass has a height of approximately 7.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 3.9cm and across the foot of about 4.3cm. There are some minor variations in the measurements due to the handmade nature of the glasses.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 35ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of 300g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some minor scratches to the bowls and feet commensurate with age and use.
