This is a classic mid-century design produced by Whitefriars Glass.
The elongated bowl is broadly cylindrical, tapering into a globular knop. The knop surmounts a short stem and domed foot. The latter is plain and unmarked.
This vase has the pattern number 9484 and features on page 13 of the 1957 Whitefriars catalogue.
It has a height of approximately 19.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 2.3cm and across the foot of about 5.6cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 90g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
