This is an attractive ceramic bud vase produced by Jersey Pottery.
The bud vase is approximately trumpet-shaped, flaring out again at the discoid base. It is decorated below the rim and above the base with two circumferential black lines containing a thick green circumferential line. The middle of the vase is hand-painted with five elongated vertical stylised leaves. Between adjacent leaves are three green lines, like stylised blades of grass.
The underside of the base is marked with the words ‘JERSEY POTTERY C I’.
It has a height of approximately 15.4cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.2cm and across the base of about 6.7cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 160g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
