This is a highly attractive lead glass tankard from the ‘Wave’ suite by Thomas Webb.
It is made from green glass with a moulded chevron ‘V’ design. The base of the tankard has a central polished pontil and is unmarked. There is a hand-painted design of a cock pheasant on one side of the piece.
It has a height of approximately 10.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.0cm and across the base of about 8.5cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 360ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 370g.
It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is some wear and tear to the hand-painted motif that is commensurate with use.
