This is a classic Scottish terrier or ‘Scottie dog’ figurine produced by SylvaC.
The dog is moulded with a textured pattern to resemble fur. Detail of the nose, eyes and collar are picked out in chocolate-coloured glaze. The remainder is glazed in tan or beige.
The base has an unglazed foot rim, revealing the underlying white ceramic body.
The centre of the base is glazed in beige and impressed with the number ‘1295’ and ‘RD. NO. 77850’ although this is not entirely clear.
It has a maximum height of approximately 12.6cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 190g.
It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some burst bubbles within the glaze, which is lightly crazed all over.
