This is a simple but attractive example of a posy vase by Jersey Pottery.
The posy vase is bottle-shaped and is pierced with two sets of six perforations. The bulbous part of the body is decorated with stylised flowers and leaves in a continuous band.
The base has an unglazed foot rim and a central glazed portion, with the words ‘JERSEY POTTERY C. I.’ moulded in relief.
It has a height of approximately 9.5cm and a diameter across the rim of about 3.0cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 130g.
It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is some crazing to the glaze.
