This is a set of six high-quality cut lead crystal port or sherry glasses by Tudor Crystal.
The bucket-shaped bowl is cut with a series of nine vertical wedge cuts that extend about two-thirds of the way up the bowl. In the space between each wedge cut is an arch-shaped panel cut, surmounted by a cross cut.
There is a broad discoid attachment between the bowl and the stem. This tapers in before a central bladed knop. The foot is plain and marked in the centre with the words ‘TUDOR MADE IN ENGLAND’. This mark started being used in the 1930s.
Each glass has a height of approximately 10.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 5.9cm and across the foot of about 5.5cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 95ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 590g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
