This is a set of four high-quality cut lead crystal finger bowls, maker unknown and probably dating to around 1870.
The rounded bowl is cut below the rim with ten petals with triangular lower portions. Between adjacent points is a diamond cut; there is a ring of triangular cuts along the base which line up with the points on the star cutting on the thickened base.
Each bowl has a height of approximately 6.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 12.6cm and across the base of about 7.0cm. There are some minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to their handmade nature.
They have an unwrapped weight of 1550g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some wear and tear scratches commensurate with age.
