This is a set of four cut and moulded lead crystal sherry or liqueur glasses by Edinburgh Crystal International.
The capacious rounded bowl is cut with a lattice formed from three rows of eight interlocking crosses, which diminish in size as they approach the base of the bowl. Where adjacent crosses meet on the uppermost row, they are surmounted by alternating eight-pointed stars and vertical wedge cuts.
The bowl has a thickened base that merges imperceptibly with the stem; this has a central bladed knop. The foot is star-cut in the centre and unmarked.
Each glass has a height of approximately 10.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 4.7cm and across the foot of about 5.5cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 70ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 430g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although one glass has a dark striation in the foot, which is a manufacturing artefact.
