Set of Five Mid-Century ‘Atomic’ Style Cocktail Glasses with Zig-Zag Motif c.1950s

This is a stylish set of five cocktail glasses with a classic ‘Atomic’ motif, probably dating to the 1950s.

Each glass is conical in shape, tapering in to meet the broad, domed black glass foot. They are unmarked.

The bowl is decorated on the exterior with a white enamel pattern consisting of a zig-zag line that extends the height of the bowl and meets a large dot at the troughs. Within the narrow ‘points’ of the zig-zag is a further small white dot.

Each glass has a height of approximately 10.9cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 10.3cm and across the foot of about 7.0cm.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 180ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of 770g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
