This is a nice example of a retro glass votive or candleholder, possibly Scandinavian in origin and dating to the 1960s or 1970s.
The glass is moulded to give textured vertical bands, alternating with areas which are frosted. It would appear that after removal from the mould and while still pliable, the glass has been folded to form irregular ‘pleats’ around the rim.
The base is hand-engraved with the number ‘75’. I believe this is a collection number and not something attributable to the manufacturer.
It has a maximum height of approximately 8.0cm, with a maximum width across the rim of about 8.8cm and a diameter across the base of about 5.0cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 230g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
