This is a high-quality lead crystal candleholder from the ever-popular ‘Snowball’ range, designed by Ann Wärff in 1973 for Kosta Boda.
The piece is moulded in a predominantly spherical form with a textured surface meant to resemble ice. It has a cylindrical hole through the centre for the insertion of a tea light candle. The base is flat and unmarked.
It has a maximum height of approximately 6.2cm, with an aperture diameter of about 4.4cm, and a diameter across the base of about 5.7cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 450g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
