This is a nice example of a glass bird ornament produced by Pfeiffer Kristal of Holland.
The bird has a pink and purple mottled glass core encased in a thick layer of clear (flint) glass. This has been drawn out to form the elongated neck, head, beak, and crimped tail.
The base is polished flat and bears the original black and gold sticker, which reads ‘BRILLIANT KRISTAL PFEIFFER HANDMADE HOLLAND’.
It has a height of approximately 4.5cm and a maximum length of about 8.2cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 150g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
