This is a pair of high-quality cut lead crystal wine glasses from the ‘Buckingham’ suite by Stuart Crystal.
The capacious rounded bowl is cut with a band of four rows of twelve interlocking cross-cut diamonds. In the upper arms of each cross in the top row is a three-pointed fan with an elongated central limb. At the base of the bowl, six small crosses extend down from the lattice. The stem is of tapering form and is moulded with six facets. The foot is star cut and marked on the edge with the words ‘STUART CRYSTAL’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 20.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.2cm and across the foot of about 7.2cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 275ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 570g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
