Pair of Late 19th Century Small Glass Perfume Bottles with Silver Coloured Metal Lids

This is a charming pair of moulded glass perfume bottles dating to the late 19th century.

Each bottle is cylindrical in form with a polished base. The neck is threaded to allow for attachment of the silver-coloured metal lid. There is also a small glass stopper with a milled edge inside the neck, which keeps the fluid in.

The body is cut with ten facets which have curved upper and lower margins.

The lid is made from a silver-coloured metal and is unmarked.

Each bottle has a height (including the lid) of approximately 10.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 1.8cm and across the base of about 3.3cm.

They have an unwrapped weight of 150g.

They are in good condition, with some minor nicks to the edges of the cutting, some wear and tear scratches commensurate with use, and one small dent to the edge of one of the metal lids. This wear is reflected in the price.
