This is a pair of good-quality contemporary moulded lead crystal brandy glasses from the ‘Living’ range produced by Galway Crystal.
The capacious balloon-shaped bowl is etched in the lower half with circumferential bands of differing thicknesses. There is a small discoid collar at the junction of the bowl and the stem; the latter is cylindrical and merges with the broad, flat foot. This is marked on the edge with the word ‘GALWAY’.
In addition, each glass bears the original silver paper label which reads ‘GALWAY LIVING’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 13.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.0cm and across the foot of about 7.3cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 460ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 360g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
